The Study examines the constructibility of the segment from Cascade to Meeks. The SR89 Corridor Management Plan has determined that the creation of a multi-use trail along the lake’s southwest shoreline is a high priority need.

Valhalla Tahoe (Tahoe Tallac Association): TOC wrote and obtained a National Public Radio grant, created press materials, pitches, entertainment columns, articles, new photography and social media management to generate 4:1 ROI press coverage.

Tahoe City Lodge Community Revitalization Project (Kila Tahoe LLC) earned unanimous approval from TRPA and Placer County. The public engagement process included the development and execution of strategic and tactical communications such as a project website, informational brochures, public participation events, presentations, database management, press and governmental relations. TOC helped to navigate the project through the court of public opinion via a successful engagement campaign to achieve decision maker approval.

Nonprofit Tahoe Magic https://tahoemagic.org/ TOC is committed to the health of her community and is contributing communications expertise + website content development to help propel the nonprofit’s fundraising ability. Tahoe Magic is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 1994 to help low-income families with children in the South Lake Tahoe area.

Barton Hospital’s Foundation Cause Committee recently included TOC as an advisor to the communications strategy, planning and outreach execution of the annual Cause fundraising campaign to bring significant funding in for technology and equipment to benefit the local community.

Edgewood Tahoe Lodge & Water Quality Improvement Project, Edgewood Companies: TOC helped to develop and launch the successful strategic communications platform for the environmental redevelopment project, which earned unanimous approval from TRPA, City of South Lake Tahoe and two Counties. TOC generated multiple public information and community outreach components to include neighbor relations for a community park, yellow cress planting event and stakeholder engagement.

CA State Parks, Upper Truckee River Restoration & Golf Course Project https://restoreuppertruckee.net/ TOC provides expertise to improve both the environment and local economy. For more than 10-years she has helped plan and execute the public information and community outreach components (website/collateral content, multiple site tours, press relations, campaigns). The project is currently gearing up for the EIR/EIS public and regulatory review process.

Tahoe Resource Conservation District, Stormwater Funding Partnership involved a collaborative effort to successfully bring forward a strong coalition of multi-jurisdictional community leaders and decision makers to problem solve stormwater challenges. TOC assisted with strategic planning, government relations, community partnerships, presentations and meeting facilitation to navigate across several counties, agencies and political districts.

Tahoe Rim Trail nonprofit: TOC conducted consumer research and competitor audits to deliver a stronger brand identity; she created a strategic marketing with communication execution templates, and edited both communications materials and board presentations.

Sierra Business Council/Small Business Development Center/SBA: TOC has served as a long-time business advisor to multiple start-ups and small businesses in the Sierra region to help drive consumer interest via strategic marketing, website development, content writing/editing and more. Similarly, she contributed at Tahoe Chamber & City of South Lake Tahoe to the small business development program on the Tahoe Tactical coaching team, grant-funded by City of South Lake Tahoe.
